As we flow through the summer of 2021, there's a constant degree of uncertainty about whether our contribution to society includes the highly valued human connection experienced by Rotary participants in the past. Even though the "hands in space" principle is certainly a the norm in our lives, there's no doubt that the confidence in Rotary is growing, and more people are forming face-toface connections. Rotary has, however, changed. It is still unclear the way in which the service we provide to others is going to incorporate the highly appreciated human connections which Rotary Members enjoyed during the previous time. The phrase "hands face space" will become one of the routines however, it is clear that there's a rising optimism and the desire to connect face-to face. Rotary is, however, having changed. Rotary has changed. The outbreak has forced us to enhance our technology techniques. We maintain our business online while also reintroducing our activities for service and social. For the sake of building the foundation for a brighter future for Rotary and our members, we've tapped into opportunities created by the epidemic and our previous practices. A recent Rotary survey, we were encouraged to see that around 75% of clubs are making plans for their "business routine events" The months of summer have seen many members out and about focussing on projects such as cleaning the beach and river, litter cleaning, and providing ongoing services to society from Rotary volunteer teams who give their time for COVID testing and vaccination centers. In a Rotary survey that was very reassuring, I find that about 75% are continuing with their previous programs and initiatives which have helped the communities in Great Britain. While I'm extremely proud that Rotary continues to be a part of the Rotary Centre is continuing to help numerous community initiatives that help the members of Rotary and keep them safe, compliance and Insurance are vital. Our Rotary members have managed to develop innovative and inventive solutions to the biggest issues. That's why I was so elated to be given the opportunity to join Rotary at the age of 22 in. Like so many Rotary have provided me with the security of a solid network of likeminded people who have formed genuine relationships developed over these almost 20 years. We should all invite friends and family to join Rotary, and we can truly make a positive difference.
